Case Study: Sentinel Show Reel

19th May 2022/ Case Study

Ever wonder what goes into a project at Europa?

Our new Sentinel Show Reel was led by Charlie, our Head of Internal Sales and Marketing, spanning a total of 4 months and requiring collaboration between Sales, Technical and Marketing to bring you the final video. When asked about the project Charlie said:

“The idea of bringing our Europa products to life via CGI animation had been on my to do list for a little while, when we decided to press the green button on the project it was all stations go. Initial meetings with the animators and developers helped us form exactly what we wanted the video to look like and the benefits it would have to its viewers. With input from Sales, Marketing and Technical we managed to pull the information needed for the video together quickly. Seeing the first draft was amazing and exactly how we had imagined it to be. We hope this is just the start of our journey into CGI animated videos and are already thinking about phase 2!”

Several steps were involved in the planning and creation of the video, including:

  1. Coming up with the initial concept
  2. Brain storming ideas
  3. Creating CAD drawings of our products
  4. Creating a story board

The creative team then uses innovative CGI technology and 3D animation to bring our products to life.

But why CGI?

CGI is a great way to explain concepts clearly and demonstrate the benefits of our products by making them easy to understand. It gives you an immersive and informative experience with a slick and polished look to help you visualise our product range. Our Show Reel takes you on a journey throughout the household, covering the domestic solutions we can provide.

This is an exciting step as Europa continues to invest in new technologies to support you and your customer.
